Applying to university is an exciting step, but the process itself can feel daunting, especially when it comes to writing your personal statement. You might feel overwhelmed, unsure of how to start, or just in need of a second opinion.
My name is Zillah, and I help students to find the words to showcase their talents and interests. I provide tailored one-to-one support to students writing their personal statements for their UCAS applications.
I have supported hundreds of students in writing their best personal statement. I help students generate ideas, start the writing process, and refine their statement to create a confident and authentic piece of writing.
I have supported students applying to universities across the UK, including Oxford and Cambridge, as well as Russell Group institutions such as Imperial College London, the London School of Economics, Warwick, Edinburgh and Manchester.

How I can help
I provide tailored one-to-one support to students at all stages of the process. Depending on where your strengths and talents lie, you might need support in:

I have worked with secondary school students for over twenty years. My online support sessions are a constructive, judgement-free environment where you can tackle the completion of your personal statement with confidence.
How much does it cost?
I offer two different services:Getting started - £30
This is for students who have not yet written anything and are unsure about how to start. I offer a 30 minute online session where we can explore ideas and go through some prompts that will help you to get writing.
Statement review - £45
This is for students who have already written a draft statement. I will review your draft and then schedule a 30 minute online feedback session to support you in revising and perfecting your statement.
